The only issue I had was not being informed of timescales in getting hold of certificate. After calling ENVICO I was informed that this delay lies with IOSH themselves and I have to give praise to the two individuals that did chase an electronic version for me. Please pass on my thanks... Overall good course will recommend to colleagues...

I feel that as a supervisory course it should concentrate on the day to day role of a supervisor on site. For example, its all very well and good talking about the dangers of asbestos. We are construction professionals and are aware of the dangers asbestos poses. At no point apart from when brought up by the students was the asbestos register mentioned. As a supervisor I want to know what I need to be doing to fulfil that role to the best of my ability.

The course instructor Mike Farrell made the delegates feel at ease with his style of teaching. As this was not the first time we had done the course and therefore going over old ground Mike kept our attention throughout the course. I will be highly recommending this course and venue to my colleagues when the time comes for them to renew their SMSTS. I have received my certificate, many thanks.
