What is the CITB TSTS Course?

The CITB TSTS course is a one-day course designed for those who are involved in the tunnel construction industry as a member of the workforce.

The TSTS course is designed to help them understand a variety of different aspects of the industry, the associated working environment, and some of the potential hazards that they may face working on a tunnelling site.

Pre-requisites

The minimum entry requirement is a good understanding of spoken and written English. If you have concerns in this area, please call us on 01275 398 665. The minimum age of attendance for this course is 16 years old, however delegates who are under the age of 18 must bring a completed parental consent form to the first day of the training course.

One full day (7.5 hours)

Assessment

25 Multiple-choice question paper at the end of the course. Must be completed in 30 minutes. Pass mark is 72%.

Certification

Successful delegates will be issued with a CITB TSTS certificate which has a three-year life.
