What is NEBOSH Investigation Course?
NEBOSH and Great Britain’s Health and Safety Regulator, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), have jointly developed a new one day NEBOSH Investigation course and qualification that shows how non-complex incidents can be investigated effectively. By learning lessons and making improvements, organisations can avoid similar incidents occurring in the future.
This course is available in the following three learning formats:

What’s included in the NEBOSH Accident Investigation Course?
This NEBOSH Accident Investigation course is for anyone who wants to carry out incident investigations effectively.
Employers, supervisors, SHE champions, union and safety representatives will benefit. Attending the course will enable you to:

- Gather evidence including conducting witness interviews
- Produce an action plan to prevent a recurrence of an incident

The one day NEBOSH Incident Investigation course covers the following topics:

NEBOSH Incident Investigation Test
A practical assessment is completed at the end of the NEBOSH Incident Investigation course. You will be provided with a pack of evidence and shown a video of three witness interviews. You will be asked to review the evidence, evaluate each interview and produce an action plan that will help prevent a recurrence of an incident.
NEBOSH Investigation Course Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this NEBOSH Investigation course, however it is recommended that learners should already have an underpinning knowledge of health and safety issues, and many will have gained another NEBOSH qualification.
It is also important that learners have a suitable standard of English language in order to understand and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus.
NEBOSH recommends that learners undertaking this qualification should reach a minimum standard of English equivalent to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0 or higher in IELTS tests.
