What is the SQA NRSWA Reassessment Course?
The SQA NRSWA Reassessment for Operatives or Supervisor training (New Roads and Street Works Act) is a necessity for any employee who have previously completed the NRSWA course relating to their role.
Who is the NRSWA Reassessment Course Suitable For?
This NRSWA Operatives/Supervisors Reassessment course is designed for those who currently hold a valid Street Works card who carry out work on the roadways and highways.

At the end of the NRSWA Reassessment training course your knowledge will be refreshed on:
- Training and assessment process for a Street Works Operative.
- Health and Safety legislation and their obligations under this Act.
- Safe working practices and methods.
- Reference documentation used within the Highways Industry.
Course Duration
1 day
Certification and Assessment
For each unit requiring re-assessment you will need to complete the following:
- Multiple choice assessment paper
- You will be required to present your original Street Works Card to the trainer. Please note that photocopies will not be accepted on arrival.
Pre-requisites to Attend the NRSWA Reassessment Course
If you wish to undertake this NRSWA Reassessment training course you must:
- provide a scanned copy of your current Street Works card (Front and Back) prior to attending to enable the training provider to ensure the correct theory exams have been booked for you
- complete this training within 5 years of the card expiry
Failure to adhere to these guidelines will result in the delegate having to sit the full NRSWA course again.
