What is the NVQ Level 2 Cranes & Specialist Lifting Course?
This NVQ Level 2 Plant Operations – Cranes and Specialist Lifting course caters to crane operators, and other construction professionals dealing with plant machinery. Upon completion, learners will be able to demonstrate their competence to prospective employers. The NVQ will prove that they’re able to work to the standard demanded by the industry, performing their work skilfully and, just as importantly, safely.
If you are working toward your Blue Competent Operator Card, or a Blue CPCS Card, then this NVQ Level 2 Plant Operations course is for you. It’s built with the practical purpose of operating machinery in mind, and thus there is a sizeable practical component (though there’s also a great deal of important preparation and discussion to be done before you step behind the controls of expensive and potentially dangerous machinery!)
Would-be learners should be employed in a suitable position, and have no restrictions prohibiting them from doing the necessary work toward their qualification. They should also be at least sixteen years old.
